SUSTAINABILITY AS A PRINCIPLE<\/h2>\n

One of the connecting elements of our unique hotels is the GreenSign sustainability certification that has been implemented throughout. This system is internationally recognised and GSTC-compliant. <\/p>\n

We chose GreenSign as our partner back in 2020 and have since had all our hotels and our Classik Business Space in Berlin (full-service offices) audited and certified as sustainable. Some recertifications have also taken place in the meantime.<\/p>\n

In line with these sustainability certifications, we define appropriate responsibilities and processes to effectively implement and document sustainability. Purchasing & Quality Control<\/h3>\n

Our hotels are subject to ethical guidelines that set clear requirements for employees, suppliers and cooperation partners to act responsibly towards people, animals and the environment. We work with local companies and suppliers and guarantee a clean and safe environment for the delivery and preparation of food and beverages in our hotels through regular internal quality controls. Our purchasing policy focuses on organic quality, regionality and seasonality when selecting food and products. This ensures that we use as much fresh, unsprayed fruit and vegetables as possible in our hotel cuisine.<\/p>\n

Mobility<\/h3>\n

We cover the cost of the Germany-wide rail ticket for our employees so that they do not need to use their own cars. All our hotels are accessible by public transport. Some of our hotels offer our guests the option of renting bicycles for a fee so that they can explore their holiday destination without producing any emissions. We also promote the use of e-mobility by offering free charging stations for our guests’ electric cars at some of our hotels.<\/p>\n

Home<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>SUSTAINABILITY AS A PRINCIPLEOne of the connecting elements of our unique hotels is the GreenSign sustainability certification that has been implemented throughout. This system is internationally recognised and GSTC-compliant. We chose GreenSign as our partner back in 2020 and have since had all our hotels and our Classik Business Space in Berlin (full-service offices) audited and certified as sustainable. Some recertifications have also taken place in the meantime. In line with these sustainability certifications, we define appropriate responsibilities and processes to effectively implement and document sustainability. I want to ensure that our hotels take a responsible approach, and that we help keep the world a beautiful place for our children. That\u2019s why our values are: individual, innovative, sustainable.We always view sustainability as a holistic concept: we consider ecological, social and economic aspects and combine them. Our long-term approach is designed to meet the needs of today’s generations without limiting the opportunities of future generations.
