“Welcome to the Classik Hotel Antonius!

My name is Aylin Lamsfuss. Since 1 January 2022, I have had the honour of welcoming guests to our lovely hotel in Cologne as general manager.

I live for hospitality, and am inspired every morning when I return to the Classik Hotel Antonius.

Why? Because every detail, every moment, I spend there is shaped by a passion for personal service and a unique guest experience. We do more than just offer accommodation. Instead we create a temporary home for our guests. I believe that the right ambiance and a welcoming atmosphere make the difference between a normal stay and an unforgettable trip.

Cologne’s unmissable sights:

THE RHINE

Start with a stroll along the Rhine promenade, just 200 meters from the hotel, to the picturesque Rheinauhafen. On the way you will pass Cologne Cathedral and you can walk over the railway bridge, which offers fantastic views of the city’s skyline. Don’t miss the chance to cross the river on the cable car over Zoobrücke – the view is breathtaking.

BELGIAN QUARTER

The Belgian Quarter is slowly but surely becoming Cologne’s insider tip – a real highlight in the city. This lively district is packed with great cafés, restaurants and unique shops. The area borders on Aachener Weiher, an attractive park in the heart of the city. Although Cologne has numerous green spaces established when Konrad Adenauer was mayor of the city, this park centred on a large pond has a special charm.

THE RESTAURANT AUGUSTIN

A culinary highlight that I warmly recommend is the Restaurant Augustin, located immediately adjacent to our hotel. The restaurant is run by a passionate chef, the man behind another Michelin-starred restaurant in Cologne. In summer 2023 the Restaurant Augustin was also recognised with an award from Gault Millau. It serves delicious, creative dishes – a unique gourmet experience in an exceptional atmosphere.
